Electronics Support Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Support Specialist to join our team at Red Bull Technology. As part of our Electronics Support Group, you will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical and Electronic support of our factory and rig systems.

You will be accountable for the system and controls setup, failed component reporting and fault diagnosis and resolution, as well as ensuring that the systems are electrically set up and configured fully and that it is correctly built and tested to fulfill the requirements set out within the event build specification.

To fulfill this role, you will:

  • Have experience working within a similar role within F1 Electronics and Control Systems, including ATLAS and System Monitor
  • Be proficient in using MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow
  • Have experience in all types of Electrical and Electronic installations, including MIL specification wiring installations and sensor technologies
  • Hold a degree or equivalent within an Electronics discipline, combined with relevant experience of Motorsport Electrical and Electronic Systems
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and be able to work within a high-pressure environment
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to work within tight timescales
  • Be able to read and write simple code in VBA, XML, Python
  • Be familiar with using an oscilloscope to measure and capture analogue and digital signals
  • Be familiar with debugging CAN issues using tools such as Vector CANalyzer or similar
