Facilities Operations Coordinator

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our academy of schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in facilities management.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with maintenance and ad-hoc repairs, maintaining the security of school premises, buildings, and grounds, and operating and testing security systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our schools.
- Maintain the security of school premises, buildings, and grounds to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
- Operate and test security systems to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct compliance checks to ensure our schools meet regulatory requirements.
- Supervise contractors on-site to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaker type role.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) and own transport.
- Able to work 37 hours per week with flexibility to cover hours between 06:00 and 22:00.
Working Arrangements:
This is a temporary position working weekly until transferring to a permanent contract. The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
