The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with complex learning needs in their academic and personal growth, while also contributing to the creation of a positive and nurturing learning environment. As a member of the teaching team, you will assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

This is a term-time only role, with set hours from Monday to Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. You will also have access to onsite training and assessment opportunities, enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge within the field of special education. Additionally, you will be entitled to paid enhanced DBS checks, ensuring your safety and security while working with vulnerable individuals.

Key responsibilities include supporting students with complex learning needs, assisting teaching staff, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. You will require good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with young people who have learning disabilities. Good ICT skills and teamwork abilities are also essential for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £19,871-£20,699 per annum (£12.36-£12.87 per hour), reflecting the importance of your role in supporting students with complex needs.
