Credit Controller

SF Recruitment is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join an established business in Leicester. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining a healthy cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively collect cash from customers through telephone, email, and dunning letters.
- Manage disputes and ensure compliance with risk insurance policies.
- Conduct ongoing credit and risk assessments to minimize bad debt.
- Monitor customer account balances against credit limits.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management reports.
- Develop and implement action plans to collect overdue and over-exposed balances.
- Refer accounts to debt recovery specialists when internal collection efforts fail.
- Previous experience in Credit Control or a similar environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Thrives under pressure and can work independently.
