Financial Leadership Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their team in Weston-Super-Mare. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing multi-site accounting and providing financial intelligence to support business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts with accompanying commentary for senior management
  2. Mentoring and developing junior colleagues
  3. Project costings and cash flow forecasting
  4. VAT reporting and variance analysis
  5. Weekly KPI reporting to deadlines
  6. Collaborating with procurement teams on ongoing projects
  7. Providing senior finance team with key financial insights to inform business decisions
  8. Commentating on monthly financial reporting pack data to financial and non-financial department leaders
  9. Supporting quarterly reviews and annual budgets
  10. Identifying areas for improving financial performance of specific business divisions
  11. Regular liaison with external accountants and consultants

We are looking for a highly experienced Financial Analyst or Assistant Accountant ready to take on a leadership role. You will require a solid understanding of all aspects of accurate financial reporting, with a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
