The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial information, reports, and returns for a wide range of clients, as well as preparing and providing personal and company tax computations, VAT returns, and general bookkeeping duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial information, reports, and returns for clients
  • Preparing and providing personal and company tax computations
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties
  • Assisting in information gathering to analyse and report information about income and expenditure to support decision making, planning, and control

The ideal candidate will be AAT L2 or L3 qualified, have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a highly organised approach.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive starting salary of £22,000-£28,000, depending on experience, and the opportunity to progress and move up the career ladder within the company.
