Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Residences Management Team as an Assistant Accommodation Manager. This is a full-time, open-ended position with a salary of £24,600 - £25,433 per annum (Grade 3).

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Residences Manager in the management of university accommodation, including supervising staff and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The role involves dealing with customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing advice to inform others' decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of university accommodation
  • Deal with customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and training where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with standard procedures and practices
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve service levels

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of providing customer service in a corporate/hospitality and/or accommodation environment
  • Ability to supervise the work of others and motivate individuals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • NVQ 2/GCSE level A-C or equivalent work-related experience
