About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Support Time and Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing child and young person recovery focused interventions to address complex care needs for those receiving therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide child and young person recovery focused interventions to address complex care needs for those receiving therapy
  • Work under the guidance of an allocated clinician to provide time limited task and goal focused recovery interventions to support with the delivery of an evidenced based therapeutic treatment plan
  • Develop autonomy and empowerment for young people and families in receipt of CAMH Services by supporting in delivering personally defined recovery care planned interventions, promoting citizenship and supporting connectivity and empowerment
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team of CAMHS professionals in providing targeted recovery focused interventions as identified and care planned by the allocated lead clinician

Person Specification

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and skills acquired through experience OR equivalent levels of experience or training working in a health or social care setting
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of being supervised
  • Experience of analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing
  • Experience of working in community settings
