Finance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our client's team in Chelmsford. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing all finance operations, including management accounts, financial reporting, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management Accounts: Lead the preparation and production of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • NetSuite Financial Operations: Manage all finance team activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management.
  • Team Management: Oversee and support the finance team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within the NetSuite environment.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using NetSuite, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in NetSuite and maintain compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in finance management, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using NetSuite to manage finance operations.
  • Proven track record of producing detailed and accurate management accounts.
  • Experience leading or managing a finance team, with a focus on leveraging ERP systems like NetSuite to enhance team performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite's financial modules (GL, AP, AR, reporting, etc.)
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting financial data and providing insights to guide business strategy.
