Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a global leader in nuclear energy innovation and contribute to the development of the next generation of nuclear power stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide line management, coaching, and mentoring to develop technical and personal skills within the team.
  • Leverage expertise in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors to lead a team of engineers in producing fault studies and safety case documentation crucial for the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) of the SMR-300 reactor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors.
  • Experience in developing nuclear safety cases and managing technical teams.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.

The estimated salary range is based on the UK national average salary for this position, taking into account the location, industry, and level of experience required.
