Jigsaw Performing Arts St Albans is seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Artist to join our team on Saturday mornings in St Albans. As a qualified educator, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for teaching children aged 3-6 years and contribute to our creative curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be able to commit to our 11-week term and work closely with our team to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. This role would suit someone who has experience working in a similar environment or has trained at drama school or university level.

Salary: £75 per day (approximately £2,550 per 11-week term)

Job Details:

  • Part-time position (approximately 3 hours per week)
  • Weekends only

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for children aged 3-6 years
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement the curriculum
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons and activities

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS certification
  • Ability to drive (although not essential)
  • Check that the journey to the school is feasible before applying
  • Commit to all dates of the term
