Tax Director

This leading accountancy firm, Public Practice Recruitment Ltd, is seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be a CTA qualified tax professional with a strong track record of providing tax advice to large corporations and multi-nationals.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for overseeing the tax advisory function, advising on and developing all tax matters for the firm's valued portfolio. The role will involve leading the tax advisory function for large scale clients, taking the lead on transactions such as disposals, mergers and acquisitions, and advising on all areas of the tax compliance process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the tax advisory function for large scale clients of the firm.
- Take the lead on transactions such as disposals, mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise on all areas of the tax compliance process, key deadlines and activities required.
- Reporting to international group finance teams/advisors.
- Assistance with ERS reporting and advice.
Requirements:
- CTA qualified with demonstrable experience of tax and leadership.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation.
- Strong record of accomplishment of improving profitability and exceeding client expectations.
- Excellent communications skills.
