Job Title: Clinical Psychologist in Medical Psychology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to a multi-disciplinary team, including a Staff Grade Psychiatrist, Clinical Team Lead, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, Peer Support Worker, and administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the training opportunities available for members of the MDT staff to support their development
  • Provide supervision of Honorary Assistant Psychologists and trainees to support the psychological workforce development
  • Work flexibly to implement support or treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs
Requirements:
  • HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
  • Additional training in specialised psychological assessment and interventions for psychosis
  • Clinical supervision course
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of working with rough sleepers or homelessness
  • Knowledge of local mental health pathways and voluntary organisations
