Paid Search Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Paid Search Manager to join our team at Shape Recruitment. As a Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for owning the day-to-day execution of all paid search activity, employing strong platform knowledge and supplier relationships to deliver amazing planning, testing, optimization, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the wider team to set strategies and plan the media mix for paid search campaigns
- Deliver on the agency promise across all areas
- Contribute to client calls and meetings
- Audit accounts regularly to improve performance
- Liaise with third-party providers and partners to resolve any issues as they arise
- Manage and coordinate freelancers where necessary to ensure a high quality of work is maintained
- Invest time promoting and training team members in the role that Paid Search plays in the wider ecosystem
- Support all team members in acquiring their Adwords qualifications
- Solid experience working in a Paid Search, agency-side role
- Strong understanding of where paid search fits in the wider digital marketing mix
- Understanding of the commercials of online marketing and ecommerce
- Ability to manage own workload to ensure that individual, team, and company targets are achieved
- Take ownership of clients' testing plans to organize both tactical and mid-term campaign actions and goals, and manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests with methodical accuracy
- Experience planning and running PPC accounts directly through Adwords and Bing and via third-party platforms e.g. Doubleclick Search, Marin
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc)
- Full Google AdWords Certification
- Experience with Google Analytics (plus certification)
- Experience with sizeable campaigns and budgets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Up to £40,000 basic + 10% performance-related bonus
