Associate Consultant - Home Energy Research

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is seeking an Associate Consultant to join our Home Energy Research team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of leading-edge research on home energy topics and become a recognised thought leader in the European home energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage research projects on home energy topics, including home energy management, connected homes, and energy insights.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Home Energy team to ensure a unified use of data and insight derived from research.
  • Deliver engaging and meaningful content to research subscribers in the form of reports, databases, and viewpoints.
  • Communicate with clients or subscribers virtually and in person via presentations, email, webinars, and video conferencing.
  • Project manage and/or lead data projects and reports.
  • Build relationships with industry contacts on behalf of the company, developing client relationships and contributing to the development of the business.
Requirements
  • Relevant BSc, MSc, PhD, or MBA qualifications and/or relevant experience in the energy transition, working with energy companies, technology manufacturers, policy makers, 'start-ups', or industry associations.
  • Interpersonal, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Evidence of ability to apply a variety of research methods, including face-to-face and video-conferenced discussion with industry experts and other professionals.
  • Ability to synthesise information and insight from a variety of sources, to create impactful research for clients.
  • Commercial acumen - ability to think commercially about the needs of clients.
  • Customer focus - understanding of how customer needs should be reflected in home energy product and service design.
