Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for a permanent full-time position working across our Older Adult inpatient wards.

The role will involve a flexible combination of inpatient work spanning services for older adults both with and without dementia.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in psychological therapy, neuropsychological assessment, group work, carer support, and training of non-psychology colleagues.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and HCPC registration.

Experience of working with older people and people with dementia is essential, and evidence of relevant CPD in this area is desirable.

As a newly appointed employee, you will be responsible for incurring the cost of your initial DBS check relevant to your post, which will be deducted from your first salary with the Trust.
