About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Cinnamon Care. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full kitchen team, including a second chef and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient kitchen services and adherence to health and safety measures.
  • Monitor supplier performance and negotiate prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures and practices in accordance with health and safety legislation.
  • Assist the General Manager in resolving complaints concerning the catering service.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Team player with self-motivation, proactivity, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload, and work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing skills.
  • Reasonable access outside working hours in emergency situations.
