Our team handles complex litigation and arbitration, conducts research and due diligence, aids in financing and legal filings, and deals with contracts and intellectual property rights that demonstrate our commitment to clients, shareholders, and regulators.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Manage employment-related disputes, including coordinating with external counsel and internal teams such as employee relations and compliance.
  • Draft and review employment documentation, such as offer letters, severance letters, workplace rules, and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on employment law developments and assess their impact on the firm's human capital management strategy.
  • Advise on staffing aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with other relevant groups, including Legal, Compliance, Tax, Compensation, to ensure Goldman Sachs standards are incorporated into personnel matters.
  • Uphold the firm's principles, business controls, ethics, policies, and procedures, and professional standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrable employment law advisory and litigation experience in private practice or in-house.
  • Ability to draft clear and concise communications for clients, including legal advice, scripts for manager discussions, and internal communications.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills, with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with business groups.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and excellent judgment to assess risks and make informed decisions.
