Teaching Assistant

A talented maths graduate is sought to fill an academic support assistant position at our outstanding secondary school in Acton, Ealing. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of engaging maths lessons and support students in achieving their full potential.
About the OpportunityThis position involves delivering one-to-one and small group intervention sessions, as well as whole-class support. You will work closely with experienced maths teachers to develop lesson plans and interventions, benefiting from extensive training and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements- Deliver high-quality academic support to students
- Collaborate with maths teachers to develop engaging lessons and interventions
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Bachelor's degree in maths or a related subject from a top UK university
- Excellent academic record, including strong A-Levels and GCSE results in maths
- Passion for teaching and a desire to inspire young learners
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous
- Commitment to a full academic year in the role
The estimated salary for this position is £23,000 - £25,000 (pro rata, term-time only, paid weekly via PAYE).
