About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Mid Essex. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To assess and develop intervention plans for children and young people with mental health needs.
  2. To provide evidence-based treatments, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed practice.
  3. To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care and support.
  4. To supervise and develop junior staff members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in a core profession (Social Worker, Mental Health Nursing, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology).
  • Registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, NMC, UKCP, BABCP).
  • Experience working with complex mental health presentations in children and young people.
  • Experience of providing evidence-based interventions and supervising staff.
