Team Manager

As a Store Operations Supervisor at the University of Glasgow, you will be responsible for leading a team within the stores department. Your primary objective will be to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting customer expectations and adhering to Service Level Agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the team and delegate tasks effectively
• Ensure daily tasks are completed on time and according to university policy
• Coordinate with other teams, including logistics, to ensure smooth operations
• Manage building security and maintain compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicts. A flexible and enthusiastic attitude is essential, as well as the willingness to participate in training and development opportunities.
Salary: £22,681 - £25,138 per annum (part-time, 21 hours/week)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- • Standard Grades or equivalent vocational qualification (VQ 2/3 or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• IT competence
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
