Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing training programs that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate the training strategy to align with business goals and objectives
  • Manage and monitor the Professional Qualification Training Scheme, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization
  • Oversee the company apprenticeship program, providing guidance and support to participants
  • Ensure the company induction and onboarding program is up-to-date and delivered to all new starters
  • Maintain accurate records of training information, including files and matrices, and analyze data to inform annual training plans
  • Develop relationships with training suppliers to secure high-quality programs
  • Support the HR Manager in various areas, including recruitment and employee engagement
  • Arrange meetings and CPD courses for Engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Perform a range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization
Requirements
  • CIPD or relevant qualification and experience
  • Previous L&D Coordinator experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and motivate others
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Office 365 software applications
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry preferred but not essential
