Clark James Head Office is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Claims Handler to join our Fleet and Specialist product team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist products in motor claims from start to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of Fleet and Specialist products in motor claims, covering all Heads of Damage such as Accidental Damage, Property Damage, Credit Hire, and Third-party Personal Injury claims.
- Validate all claims for indemnity and fraud, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Establish our exposure in respect of all Heads of Damage by contacting potential claimants or representatives, obtaining key information, and updating the claim file.
- Accurately assess claims presented using relevant tools and ensure indemnity spend is minimized through commercial decision-making.
- Strong Insurance claims background with a working knowledge of Indemnity.
- Experience in PI and/or Credit Hire claims, commercial market awareness, and extensive working knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules, and hourly rate costs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
