Internal Communications Manager

AXA XL is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Internal Communications function, you will be responsible for designing and delivering internal communications activities to support our core growth areas, cyber and energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies to engage and inspire our colleagues.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to understand communications requirements and act as a trusted advisor to deliver internal communications initiatives.
  • Plan, write and manage a program of engaging internal communications and campaigns across various channels and platforms.
  • Contribute to the weekly grid and forward planner for the growth areas function, collaborating with regional Internal Communications Managers to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Measure the effectiveness of project communications and develop metrics and insights to support the wider internal communications strategy.

Requirements:
  • First-class communications skills - written, verbal and presenting.
  • Experience of working in a busy communications function, focusing on internal communications.
  • Proven track record of successfully creating and implementing communications plans.
  • Highly organized, with expertise in content, audience, and channel management, along with taxonomy and processes.
  • Knowledge of business processes, preferably in a financial services or B2B environment.
  • Ability to network and form relationships with peers and senior leaders, and effectively navigate a complex matrixed organization.
