Job Title: Website Delivery Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Website Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the new UWC International website project. This includes managing the project timeline, budget, and resources, as well as ensuring the successful implementation of the website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for UWCIO with the selected web development agency
- Project manage the delivery of the new website project, including regular updates with the agency and key internal stakeholders
- Plan, organise and manage the overall workflow of the website delivery project, addressing any bottlenecks and adjusting the timeline and deliverables as needed
- Prioritise project requirements and tasks, creating deadlines with action items for every project team member, along with correct allocation of resources and tracking of working hours
- Run a content audit and develop a plan to migrate and/or commission in-house teams to review/rewrite out-of-date content
- Lead on overall budget, risk mitigation and project management governance of website delivery project; set scope and timeline for specific milestone deliverables
- Hold weekly project team meetings to review progress, with project status reports for the UWCIO project team and senior management team, and maintain other project documentation
- Support development, testing and deployment as needed
Requirements:
- Previous track record of successful delivery of website development/digital transformation, with at least three years experience in project managing in-house teams and external technical suppliers
- Collaborates well with team members both in-person and virtually, and has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and is comfortable leading project team meetings
- Demonstrating excellent planning, time management, organisational and problem-solving skills; solid knowledge of common project management software
- Tech-savvy team player, who understands the ins and outs of web development project management to resolve any internal and external issues
- Ability to communicate with others at all levels and translate technical jargon into clear English, project status reports, milestones, project timelines and scope
- Skilled negotiator and problem solver, with a dose of creative, outside-the-box thinking, able to understand and speak the language of web development
- Ability to learn quickly and to respond positively to a rapidly changing work area
Desirable:
- A recognised project management qualification relevant to the digital field, such as certified Scrum master, Agile project manager or PRINCE2
- Knowledge of digital development workflows/delivery processes advantageous, for example, agile, kanban, waterfall, scrum, or critical path methodologies to successfully plan and deliver website projects
- Experience in communications in the Education and/or Charity sector

- The working hours for this role are 31 per week. Start and finish times can be agreed between managers and employees. We support flexible working and are happy to discuss different working patterns

- Contributory pension scheme, UWC International currently contributes up to 8% of the employee's gross salary and the employee must match the percentage of up to 8% of their gross salary. The minimum contribution rate is 4%
Working Arrangements:
We operate hybrid working arrangements, with 20% of the week worked in the London office and 80% worked from home. This role will regularly require 2 days office-based work. Home working must be from a residence within the UK. There is the option to work additional days in the office if requested. These arrangements will be reviewed later this year. We support flexible working and would be happy to discuss different working patterns with candidates.
Safeguarding:
It is expected that the job holder will travel to UWC schools and colleges. For that reason, a Basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) or international equivalent will be required before any job offer is made. We will also take up references prior to the second stage of the interview process. Referees will not be contacted without your consent.

This role requires applicants to have the right to live and work in the UK and undertake the role that you have been offered.
