Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Therapist Consultant to join our team at 455 North London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and providing cognitive behavioural therapy to referred clients.

The successful candidate will work in designated general practices, liaising with GPs and other practice staff to deliver high-quality care to clients. You will also provide advice, guidance, and consultation to referrers, family members, and carers, as well as communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner concerning assessment and treatment plans.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other health and social care staff from various agencies to provide comprehensive care to clients. Additionally, you will attend training programs, apply learning in practice, and receive regular clinical professional supervision from senior psychologists or psychological therapists.

To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be knowledgeable about evidence-based literature and research, and be able to apply this knowledge to support evidence-based practice.
