We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Southampton Football Club.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in providing data-driven insights to support business decisions and strategic change projects. You will work closely with our Commercial, Financial, and IT teams to design, develop, and deliver Power BI and reporting solutions that meet the needs of our business users.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and understand business needs and opportunities to lead the design, development, and delivery of Power BI and reporting solutions.
- Develop management information solutions and reports that provide business leaders with key business performance metrics and strategic insights.
- Proactively liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of the business that could benefit from analysis.
- Provide expertise in combining, cleansing, and unifying disparate data sources into cohesive data models.
- Develop necessary measures, dashboards, and visualisations to extract powerful and digestible reporting insights from complex data sets.
- Rollout Power BI solutions and ongoing training to business users.
- Lead workstream planning processes including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of Power BI solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Finance or specialized training/certification, or equivalent work experience.
- Solid experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Solid experience working with advanced Power BI and DAX.
- Experience with cloud computing models, Azure SQL, and storage services.
- Experience with SSAS tabular models, multidimensional cubes, SQL, data management, financial modelling, and reporting.
- Experience working with data to solve business problems/generating actionable insights.
