Southampton FC is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial department, you will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive strategic change projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver Power BI solutions to meet business needs
  • Develop management information solutions and reports to provide business leaders with key performance metrics and strategic insights
  • Proactively liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of the business that could benefit from analysis
  • Provide expertise in combining, cleansing, and unifying disparate data sources into cohesive data models
  • Develop necessary measures, dashboards, and visualizations to extract powerful and digestible reporting insights from complex data sets

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, or specialized training/certification
  • Significant previous Business Analysis or related technical experience
  • Solid experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
  • Solid experience working with advanced Power BI and DAX
  • Experience with cloud computing models, Azure SQL, and storage services
  • Experience with SSAS tabular models, multidimensional cubes, SQL, data management, financial modeling, and reporting
  • Experience working with data to solve business problems/generating actionable insights
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
