Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthoptist Specialist to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Orthoptist Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care for patients with eye conditions.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and junior doctors, to provide high-quality patient care.

You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a range of eye conditions, from core orthoptic to adult ocular motility and pediatric clinics. Your expertise will also be utilized in refraction clinics linked to optometrists and orthoptic-led sessions using plus optics.

Requirements
  • A degree in Orthoptics or a related field
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from:
