Job Description

Rise Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Quality Control Systems: Design, implement, and maintain quality control systems that meet the requirements of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.
  • Direct and Coordinate Quality Control Activities: Lead and coordinate the company's quality control system, ensuring that all products meet the design intent and quality levels required.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development departments, design, and procurement functions to ensure manufacturing aspects are considered at an early stage and new products are successfully delivered to market.
  • Vendor Management: Visit vendor facilities, assess their procedures, and ensure they meet our quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Experience: In-depth knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14000, including implementation and maintenance. Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Education: Relevant Quality Management, Manufacturing, or Engineering-related degree or equivalent qualifications (HND, BTEC Professional Level 5, NVQ Level 5, or Electronics Degree).
