  • Deliver a cutting-edge European Equity algorithmic product by collaborating with the global algorithmic trading product, research and development team.
  • Act as a product specialist to assist the sales team in effectively pitching the product to European clients.
  • Map the competitive landscape, analyze strengths and weaknesses of BestEx Research products, and translate client pain points into a product roadmap.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of clients' trading workflows and optimize processes for the BestEx product.
  • Provide exceptional execution services and support to clients as the product grows and the team expands.
  • Run Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) of the product, develop a comprehensive understanding of BestEx Research algorithms, and devise strategies to enhance product performance.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of clients' order flow and risk aversion, tailor algorithms to meet clients' unique requirements, and optimize them for improved performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with trading venues, upstream vendors, downstream broker-dealers, and other liquidity partners.
  • Stay abreast of market structure changes and the liquidity landscape, assess their impact on the product suite, and recommend solutions to capitalize on these changes.

Requirements:

  • Hold an expert-level understanding of the European equity market structure.
  • Possess an expert-level understanding and experience with algorithmic trading, preferably in designing execution algorithms.
  • Have expertise in transaction cost analysis and a solid understanding of drivers of trading costs.
  • Experience with data analysis languages such as R or Python, as well as good data science knowledge.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical ideas to clients.
  • Maintain good relationships with sell-side and buy-side firms.
  • Prior experience in coding production-level software is a plus but not required.
  • A good understanding of back office functions is a plus but not required.
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a quantitative field.
