Graduate Learning Assistant Wanted

We are looking for a Graduate Learning Assistant to join our team at Aspire People Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and want to gain experience in a supportive environment.

About the Job:
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers or educational psychologists to gain practical experience in a secondary school setting.
  • You will work closely with experienced staff to provide cover supervision, supporting teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
Job Description:
  1. Monday - Friday school-based hours, with flexible working arrangements available.
  2. Paid £100-£120 per day, including holiday pay.
  3. Excellent training provided, including Safeguarding and Aspire training.
  4. Secondary schools in Oldham needing regular cover.
  5. Covering classes for absent teachers, with pre-planned work provided.
Person Specification:
  • Strong academic background, with a UK degree (2:2 or above) required.
  • Enhanced DBS check mandatory; we can process one for you.
  • Confident and enthusiastic personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
