Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with a variety of learning needs
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons that cater to diverse abilities
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students
  • Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Learning Support or Teaching Assistant role
  • Experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting students' holistic development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Teaching Assistant certificate (desirable)
