Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Developer to join our team at Rebel Recruitment Limited. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging software in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.

This role is ideal for a junior/mid-level engineer with around 2-3 years of commercial experience as a developer. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded environments, solid programming experience in C and C++, excellent diagnostic skills, and hardware/PCB design experience.

The salary for this position is between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a great benefits package including 30 holidays (in addition to bank holidays).

About the Role:

  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug software in a Linux/Ubuntu environment
  • Work on a wide range of embedded systems projects
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure high-quality software solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of commercial experience as a developer
  • Strong understanding of embedded environments
  • Solid programming experience in C and C++
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Hardware/PCB design experience
