Your Future Role


You'll be an auditor in our Public Sector team, working with bodies responsible for key public services. As a specialist team, we offer assurance on their use of resources and financial accounts.


This is a constantly evolving landscape that requires a fresh approach.



Public Sector Audit Team

We are a team of over 400 members across the UK.


Our clients include NHS trusts, Fire Authorities and Local Councils. You'll work with various clients, getting hands-on experience in different aspects of audit.


You'll also get experience working on all kinds of projects with work including the application of state-of-the-art data analytics tools and techniques.


These tools include automated interrogation of financial information systems.



The Programme


This five-year apprenticeship programme is designed to take you from apprentice to professionally qualified auditor.



  • Hands-on experience in audit with various clients.
  • Responsibility and ownership for interesting and challenging client work early in your career.
  • Developing a strong internal and external network to learn from.
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000, depending on location.
