Job Description

We are seeking an Financial Support Coordinator to provide financial and administrative support to our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support to the Accounts and Payroll Officer, including raising sales invoices and recording payments received on the accounts system.
  • Match purchase invoices with delivery notes and process supplier payments.
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and petty cash transactions.
  • Check timesheets for Agency staff, inputting on system, and reconciling back to invoices.
  • Assist with raising and submitting VAT returns on a quarterly basis.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in using financial software, including spreadsheets and accounting packages.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' annual leave and a contributory pension scheme.
