Job Title: Senior Physical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of Satellite SoCs, working closely with our dynamic team to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Satellite SoCs, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address design challenges, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the entire PD flow, from netlist to GDS, including floorplanning, power planning, placement & optimization, CTS, routing, post-route optimization, and DRC closure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to the development of design methodologies and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

Requirements:

  • Good academic record with a 1st or 2:1 in Electronics or a related field.
  • 3+ successful tapeouts.
  • Experience in logic synthesis, conformal, static timing analysis, and Place and Route (PnR).
  • Experience working on projects at 28nm and lower.
