About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of Satellite SoCs, working closely with our dynamic team to design and implement cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex digital circuits, including floorplanning, power planning, placement, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful tapeouts and meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in logic synthesis, conformal, static timing analysis, and Place and Route (PnR) tools.
  • Work on projects at 28nm and lower, ensuring adherence to design rules and constraints.
Requirements
  • A strong academic record with a 1st or 2:1 in Electronics or a related field.
  • 3+ successful tapeouts in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the entire PD flow, including netlist to GDS.
  • Experience working with logic synthesis, conformal, static timing analysis, and Place and Route (PnR) tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
