Key Responsibilities:

  1. The Senior IT Technician will assume overall responsibility for the daily operation of the clients' IT support service, ensuring the maintenance of appropriate service levels and system reliability.
  2. You will guarantee that all users of their IT systems and services receive outstanding support.
  3. The Senior IT Technician will also oversee the day-to-day supervision of IT Technicians.
  4. Overseeing the IT service desk to ensure all IT support requests align with service desk procedures and priorities.
  5. Assuming accountability and responsibility for daily IT support to all users and addressing ongoing or recurring service disruptions.
  6. Developing, integrating, and managing working practices within the IT Support Team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, professional IT service to our organization.
  7. Managing up-to-date documentation for relevant IT and AV systems and hardware, including maintenance contracts and warranties.
  8. Documenting IT hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment, both digitally and in print, and ensuring user guides and knowledgebase articles are accessible to users.
  9. Serving as an escalation point for IT support technicians and liaising with the company when necessary.
  10. Providing IT support for internal and external events, including equipment setup and testing.
  11. Delivering training on our IT systems and services to all users.
  12. Supporting and maintaining all user-owned technology devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, software, and mobile devices.
