About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHC Coordinator to join our team, working within the Local Authority. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work remotely and provides a daily rate of £235.82. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in casework, with a strong understanding of the SEN statutory framework and clients' policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • As an EHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day casework, ensuring quality, consistency, and effective prioritization of tasks for a set number of cases.
  • You will record processes and decisions on the SEN database and casework file, informing relevant parties as necessary.
  • Annual review of EHC plans, completion of transition plans where required, and provision of advice and support to parents, schools, and professionals in accordance with regulations and policies are key aspects of this role.

Requirements and Skills
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within a Local Authority is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEN statutory framework and clients' policies and procedures is essential.
  • Knowledge of wider issues related to education services and social inclusion is also beneficial.

Additional Information
  • This is a temporary full-time position until the end of December, with potential for extension.
  • The daily rate for this position is £235.82 (PAYE - Inside IR35).
  • This role offers flexible remote working arrangements.
