Job Description

This is a 6 months contract role based 2-3 days per week in Corsham, UK.

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Manager Efficiency Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all guidance relating to financial benefits, developing and re-releasing the digital financial benefit guidance document, setting up the digital efficiency teamsite, and providing secretariat support for the digital efficiency committee.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, forecasting, and budgeting skills, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. They should also have good stakeholder management and collaboration skills, and be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance.

This role requires a qualified or part-qualified accountant with a background in financial management or similar relevant experience. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £600-£800 per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead for all guidance relating to financial benefits
  • Develop and re-release the digital financial benefit guidance document
  • Set up the digital efficiency teamsite
  • Provide secretariat support for the digital efficiency committee
  • Coordinate benefits handshakes with TLBs
  • Ensure internal Defence Digital efficiencies over £1M are supported by documented evidence
  • Consolidate the financial benefit position
  • Coordinate quarterly reviews of digital financial benefits with TLBs
  • Ensure financial benefits are correctly reported within financial forecast reviews
  • Lead for continued development of financial benefit reporting
