Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Peterborough.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students in Year 5, while maintaining a well-organized classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Demonstrate a robust grasp of the KS2 curriculum and skillfully design and deliver captivating lessons.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a highly organized classroom while ensuring the secure management and storage of all educational materials.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow staff members within the school.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Exhibit proficiency in assessing students, monitoring their progress, and providing valuable feedback.
  • Policies and Procedures: Diligently adhere to the school's policies and consistently implement them.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Bring recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher from mainstream primary school settings.
  • Classroom Management: Showcase exceptional classroom management skills, particularly in effectively addressing student behavior.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with support staff and parents.
  • SEND Experience: SEND experience is desirable.
