Job Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Peterborough.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Year 5, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, ensuring a robust grasp of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a highly organized and well-managed classroom, ensuring the secure storage and management of educational materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with fellow staff members, parents, and support staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress, provide valuable feedback, and monitor student development.
  • Policies and Procedures: Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, consistently implementing them to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Bring recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher from mainstream primary school settings.
  • Classroom Management: Showcase exceptional classroom management skills, particularly in effectively addressing student behavior.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with support staff and parents.
  • SEND Experience: SEND experience is desirable.
