At Structural Engineering Alliance Group, we are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team working on a variety of infrastructure projects. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design and construction stages of highways and infrastructure projects, developing your skills and progressing your career in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with demonstrable experience in the design of highways and infrastructure projects. You will be proficient in the use of design tools within a BIM environment and have a good understanding of industry design standards. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage designs using the latest software.
  • Liaise with clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Demonstrable record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Use of industry design standards.
  • Problem solver able to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other JMS offices.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
