Temporary Culinary Specialist

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Temporary Culinary Specialist and take advantage of an exciting opportunity for ongoing temporary chef work. This role offers a unique chance to work with an important client, providing exceptional food preparation and service.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and exceeded.

Your primary goal will be to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to company policies and regulations, while also providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus holiday pay.

• Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold meals for residents, taking into account individual dietary requirements and preferences.
• Ensure presentation of food is appealing and attractive, meeting the high standards expected by our residents.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.
• Provide celebratory food for special occasions, such as national holidays and resident birthdays.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A passion for food and cooking.
• Experience as a Sous Chef, with a strong focus on hands-on cooking.
• Relevant qualifications at advanced level, such as a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent understanding of nutrition requirements for the elderly.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
