We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our school premises during term times.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, hallways, offices, and other school areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all designated areas are sanitised and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Assist in organising and tidying classrooms, play areas, and common spaces to promote a neat and orderly environment.
  • Responsible for daily laundry tasks ensuring clean, dry towels and clothing are available.
  • Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including following relevant paperwork and protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent time management skills.
  • Keyholding responsibilities may be required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting children with autism.
  • Understanding of the importance of adherence to health and safety regulations.
