Responsibilities:
- Goods Transportation: Transport goods safely and efficiently to customers across the region.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow pre-determined routes and time schedules accurately to meet delivery deadlines.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly maintain company vehicles in good working condition to prevent breakdowns.
- Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Delivery Documentation: Accurately complete delivery records and paperwork.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Driver's License: Possess a valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Time Management and Organization: Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries effectively.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide good communication and customer service abilities to build strong relationships with customers.
- Lifting and Handling: Ability to handle and lift heavy items safely.
- Flexible Working Hours: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
