About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our team at Inchcape Retail Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair tasks to the highest standards
  • Utilize technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect components for wear and tear, and repair or replace as necessary
  • Support other technicians in the workshop to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
  • Current valid MOT License (advantageous but not essential)
  • Proficiency in the use of modern diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards and efficiency targets
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
