Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Breakthrough Consulting Limited. As a Design Manager, you will play a key role in the development of our projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Preconstruction: You will be part of the bid team, supporting the development of tenders for projects that you will go on to manage.
- Delivery: You will identify design opportunities and potential problems, coordinating and developing solutions to ensure the best possible design for our clients and the business.
- Commercially aware: You will work with our Quantity Surveyor to ensure that our projects are delivered profitably.
- Team coordination: As a Design Manager, you will take a leading role in coordinating the various parties involved in a project to deliver the best possible design.
- Process management: You will ensure that records are maintained and that our design processes are efficient and effective.
- Experience working for a main contractor on projects with a value of £5M to £20M.
- Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects.
- Experience working on a range of projects, including schools, commercial, leisure, and luxury housing.
- Passion for construction and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Market-leading salary, reviewed annually.
- Profit share, paid 11 out of 12 years, with the first £3,600 tax-free.
