About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, including one Saturday and one Sunday shift per roster month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual acuity assessments using automated focimeter equipment
  • Measure intraocular pressure using the Reichert Ocular Response Analyser and iCARE
  • Participate in virtual technician-led clinics to provide high-quality imaging services
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and multidisciplinary teams regarding all aspects of care
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent ophthalmology qualification
  • Enhanced ophthalmic imaging techniques (OVS) Qualification
  • Care Certificate
  • Experience in undertaking advanced ophthalmic diagnostic investigations
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £28,622 - £30,225 per annum, including HCA. We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities.
